[What] By focusing on the theme of Chinese character writing system inheriting Chinese civilization, this paper introduces the development history of Chinese character writing system and its important role as a link. [Why] The focus of this paper lies in its profound cultural connotation. The value orientation of this paper lies in students understanding of the important value of Chinese characters, learning Chinese history, inheriting Chinese civilization, spreading Chinese culture, enhancing cultural confidence and national pride.
