·Show the two example sentences:
1)He is a man who is loved and respected by all.

·Guide students to tell the differences between the italicized words from the functions.
·Guide students to classify verbs according to the sentence components.
·Show three types of non-finite verbs: to do,the -ing form and the -ed form.
·Make students focus on the grammatical term of -ed form- past participles.
