Sentences: Can you ….? Yes, I can / No, I can’t.
To consolidate:
Can you lay an egg? Can you catch mice?
Who cares, get out.
2. New words: hen/lay /mice/catch/care.
Task
Perform and retell the story of Unit 6
Warm Up
1、Greet to the students . E.g. How are you today?
2、Ask students to sing a song together.
3、Play the recording and encourage pupils to join in.
Activity1
Game and Review
Game:Tell the story by the pictures.
1. Get the class to pay attention and listen to me carefully.
2. Students try to say the sentences and do the gestures while teacher is pointing at the pictures. Tell the story from Unit1 to Unit 5
3. Those giving a right answer can get one point, and the team could have an egg who has 10 points (Competition carrier)

1. Look at the page 23 to page 24 with pupils. Describe the picture and ask related questions. E.g.
Last lesson, The Ugly Duckling came to a beautiful farm. What animals live on the farm? Are they nice? Look at the hen. She is proud. Why is she so proud? What can she do? How about the Cat? (show the mice) He can catch mice. Can Ugly Duckling catch mice? Can Ugly Duckling lay an egg?
2.Play the video first time. Introduce the new characters in this unit—Cat and Hen(put the pictures on the board, ask students some simple questions about
