Unit4 I used to be afraid of the dark 教学设计 一、教材分析： 本课时是九年级第4单元SectionA（1a-2d），涉及的主要话题为“talk about what they used to be like”，围绕着谈论过去自己和他人过去经常做的事，谈论自己和他人过去的外貌\性格\爱好。学习句型used to 为主要学习任务，并且设置任务型综合性语言实践活动，让学生在交际活动中，学会如何正确地用英语表达自己的意见和建议，重在培养学生的习得语言运用能力、实践能力、合作能力及创新意识。 二、重点与难点分析： 重点： used to句型。　 难点：通过对自己、家人及身边朋友现在和过去的比较，学习used to的用法，巩固掌握描述人物的词汇和技巧。 三．本课教学目标设计： 1、 知识与技能：通过学习本课，学生能够掌握used to句型的含义及基本的用法，并能解决实际问题；掌握本课新单词、短语；进一步强化对于人物外貌和性格变化的语言运用。通过观察、归纳、对比、分析，使学生在科学的思维方法上得到锻炼。 2 过程与方法：学生合理并有效利用多种媒体进行学习和运用英语的策略，促进学生的合作学习能力；学生小组讨论、搜集的情况总结，进一步帮助学生提高自我学习的能力；通过对新语言的观察、分析、归纳、总结提高学生的科学思维能力。 3 情感态度与价值观：本课让学生通过操练语言懂得人是不断发展变化的，我们身边的人和事都在不断变化，随着深入学习，我们也应该不断增长知识，健全自己的人格，不断去完善自己的道理；通过课上的大量语言材料，提高自己的文化意识，并扩展知识面；通过探讨外貌和性格什么最重要，引导学生思考。 四．教学过程及教学资源设计 Teaching content: Section A Topic：How we has changed Aim: Talk about appearance and personality Introduce patterns “used to” Structure: I used to be afraid of the dark.
