教学目标
一、知识目标:
学生能够在具体的情境中准确拼读并运用cough,fever,tired,dizzy,terrible, headache,medicine,pain,throat,worry,hurt sore等词汇。能掌握描述症状、给出建议、询问和描述症状的表达方式:
What’s wrong with you?
I have a running nose/a sore throat.
How long have you been like this?
What should I do then?
Have a good rest.
Take the medicine on time.
Don’t do too much exercise.
What’s your problem?
What’s the matter with you?
Are you not feeling well?
I feel dizzy/cold…
I have a cough/fever…
二、能力目标:
(1) 学生能根据听力中的信息标注描述、询问症状和给出建议的相关句型。
(2) 学生能够运用所学的词汇和句型在真实的情境中进行症状的询问和描述,在模拟的情境中进行就医的对话。
三、情感目标:
学生通过本节课的学习,能够树立基本的健康意识,初步形成养成良好生活习惯的意愿,培养关爱他人的意识。
II、教学重点和难点
(1)教学重点
学生能正确拼读本课中描述身体症状的词汇,并根据听到的信息标注询问和描述症状的句型,能运用所学的句型进行询问健康状况和模拟就医的对话。
(2)教学难点
学生能够运用所学的词汇和句型在真实的情境中进行症状的询问和描述并进行就医的对话。

Step 1 Warming up
1.Greeting
2.Let’s act: 《少年》
Well, a lot of bad things happened at 2020, such as novel coronavirus pandemic. We are so lucky to be back at school, safe and sound. And we gradually realize the importance of health. So let’s exercise now!
【Purpose 】Make students relax and arouse their knowledge about health. Strengthening their interest in studying English.
Step 2 Presentation

Students enjoy this song. Let them look at the picture
Of the text and say “Is Tom as happy as us?
【Purpose 】Arouse students’ knowledge about caring about others’ healthy condition. It will lay a good foundation for the new lesson.
2.Guessing
Look at the picture. Guess what’s wrong with Tom.
【Purpose 】Arouse students’interest of the text and enhance students’ability of prediction, get them well prepared for the following comprehension.
3.Task1: Listen and complete
Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks. “Let’s listen carefully then tell me what’s wrong with Tom.”
【Purpose 】Students will improve their ability of listening and speaking.
