PAGE 4 外语教学与研究出版社2020版 选择性必修二 Unit 2 Social Media Detox 教学设计 课型 Reading 主题 语境 人与自我——不断完善自我认知，提高自我管理能力 内容分析 本版块呈现了一篇体现单元主题的课文，语篇类型为论坛专题讨论，介绍了一场社交媒体脱瘾活动，具有很强的时代性和普遍性，和学生生活密切相关。 在这个论坛中，版主(Moderator) 发起帖子，有五位参加脱瘾活动的学生跟帖，谈了自身的经历和感受。通过对课文的学习，学生可以了解到合理利用社交媒体，减少对社交媒体的依赖，有助于更好的人际交往。 课前的导入活动展示了近些年中国网民社交媒体使用情况的数据统计与分析，意在帮助学生熟悉背景知识，为课文做铺垫，活动引导学生通过标题和文中配图对课文内容进行预测，再通过阅读进行验证了解课文大意。读后活动通过分析社交媒体脱瘾的益处、细节理解和开放性问答等活动，启发学生深入思考，积极探究主题意义。 教学 目标 通过本节课的学习，学生要达到以下目标： 读懂语篇，体会5位同龄人脱离社交媒体一周的经历和感受，并获取相关支撑信息 了解语篇结构及内在逻辑关系，初步了解在线论坛的文体特征 正确看待社交媒体，提高思辨能力，形成健康正确的生活习惯 教学重点 引导学生基于语篇学习，理解并掌握在线论坛的文体特点和组织方式 锻炼学生结合语境思考的能力和在语境中运用语言的能力 教学难点 借助论坛文体特征的学习，促进学生对语篇结构的驾驭能力和理解能力 引导学生建立正确的社交媒体使用方式,尤其是智能手机的使用 Teaching procedures Step 1: Lead-in Teacher shows the survey report of Chinese social media users, asks students to analyse, then checks their answers. Then, prepare the students with key vocabulary. Students read and think, then share their answers. Review the vocabulary, prepare themselves for reading. The purposes are: (1) to get students fully aware of the tendency of social media use, and the negative effects it has caused; (2)to help students build up their vocabulary using Word-formation; (3)To fully prepare students for reading. Step 2: Reading Activity 1: Inferring from the first look. Teacher asks students to read the title and guess the meaning and where they can meet this passage. Students read and think about the title, then share their answers. Think about the type of the article, paying attention to the characteristics of it. The purposes are: (1) to help students predict the main idea by reading the title; (2) to help students understand the structure by paying attention to the type of the passage.
