PAGE PAGE 1 教学案例: NSEFC Module 4 Unit 2 Working the land Warming up Reading ——徐晓燕 一 、指导思想与理论依据 《普通高中英语课程标(2017年版)》强调要发展学科核心素养,落实立德树人的根本任务,有效设计英语学习活动,着力提高学生学用能力,满足学生个性发展要求。因此外语教育也承担着培养学生如何做事和做人的双重任务。在英语教学中,阅读课占着举足轻重的地位。因此在阅读教学中,只有引导学生对文本开展情感维度的解读,才能能塑造学生的心灵,使学生形成积极向上的情感,锻炼克服困难的意志,养成阳光的心态,逐步树立正确的人生观、世界观和价值观。 二、Analysis of the teaching materials (教材分析) The period includes Warming-up, Pre-reading, Reading and Comprehending of Unit2. The topic of this unit introduces something about agriculture, especially about Dr Yuan and his hybrid rice. It can help the students know the development of hybrid rice in China.The world faces a serious problem--starvation. This class is mainly to train students’ reading skills, trying to enable students to achieve the purpose of language use through the study of this class, to lay a foundation for future writing. So after reading 三、Analysis of the students (学情分析) The English foundation of senior one students is limited, especially in reading and communication. Moreover, most of the students are from the countryside, so they are familiar with farming. But their English foundation is even limited. Therefore, teaching students through the speed reading , skimming and scanning methods such as learning to read the text, can help them to master reading skills and logical thinking abilities, and improve the ability to express in English, to cultivate the students’ awareness of cooperative learning and inquiry learning habits, enable students to master effective learning strategies and methods. Let students experience the fun of learning. 四、Teaching objectives (教学目标) By the end of the class, students will be able to: 1). have a deep understanding of the text and express themselves . (Language Capacity) 2). learn to use different reading abilities , like extracting specific information and summarizing.
