PAGE PAGE 29 从读者接受理论看中国古诗词的数字翻译 摘要：读者接受理论是兴起于60年代后期的读者反应批评理论，以姚斯、英伽登和伊赛尔等康士坦茨学派为主要代表。其理论的共同之处就是要求文学从“作者中心”到“读者中心”的转向，并认为读者是文学研究的中心。 古诗词，是中华文学宝库的精华。而其中数字的巧妙运用在诗歌的意境刻画中扮演了极其重要的角色。数字不仅可以表达数量，还可以传递丰富的文化内涵。不少翻译学者在古诗词的翻译上因数字犯了难。曾有学者从模糊性和文化等等不用角度着手对此进行分析。 本研究以读者接受理论为理论框架，对中国古诗词中数字的翻译进行研究。本文首先探讨数字的特点，及夸张、借代、对比三种修辞方法在古诗词中的运用。然后通过实例简要分析古诗词中的数字翻译的得失。本研究从读者接受理论分析古诗词中数字的翻译，并根据现有的翻译资料，最后指出要灵活运用直译、意译和注释三种翻译方法。 关键词：读者接受理论；古诗词；数字翻译 Translation of Numbers in Chinese Poetry from the Perspective of Reception Theory Abstract:?Reception theory is a version of reader-response literary theory that emphasizes the reader’s reception of a literary text,?which began in the late 1960s. H.R Jauss, R.Ingarden and W.Iser are its main representatives. They believe that readers are the center of literary studies. Numerals applied in poetry play an important role in delivering poetic imagery. They not only can express the quantity, but can convey abundant cultural connotations. Therefore, the translation of numerals brings some difficulties to the translation of Chinese poetry. Some scholars have analyzed and studied this question from different angles such as fuzziness and culture. With reception theory as the theoretical framework, the present study probes into the translation of numerals in Chinese poetry. First, this thesis carries out a detailed analysis about the characteristics of numerals in poetry—exaggeration, metonymy, and comparison. Then the thesis analyzes the success and losses of numerals in Chinese poetry through a number of examples. Under guidance of reception theory, this thesis studies the translation of numerals in Chinese poetry and present three translation methods--literal translation, free translation and noting.
