Step One: Lead-in
Greeting.
T:Hello,boys and girls. It’s time for English class. Are you ready??(设计说明:师生之间相互问候,引入课堂学习。)
Self-introduction(出示图片和信息卡教师自我介绍)
T:I’m your new teacher today. Let me tell you more about me. I’m short and thin. I like reading and running. I like cake. I like pink. I’m an English teacher. My job is to teach English. I love my job.
(设计说明:教师通过自我介绍,以teacher这一职业为切口,轻松自然地接触本课主题内容。)
Review
T:What other jobs do you know? Can you say it?
Ss: say it out.
T:(根据学生说出的职业进行补充,如cook make good meals, football playergo go go, Ale Ale Ale, nurse, doctor 动作演示,driverdrive a taxi or bus, farmerplant rice, fruit or vegetables)
(设计说明:引导学生复习之前学过的职业词汇及相关职业的工作内容,为本节课的做好知识储备。)
Step Two: Presentation and Practice
Learn the new words: postman, police officer, businessman, factory worker

T: (show the picture of postwoman) What does she do? Who can try?( 让学生尝试自己拼读 postwoman)

Game:Find and say.
T: If you see postman or postwoman, read aloud,if not, be quiet.
T: They post letters by bike, motorbike and horse. In mountain area, they have to climb mountain and across the river. It’s a hard work.( 教师描述,学生借助图片加深学生对邮递员这一职业的理解。)
