Module 8 Unit 1 How many? Analysis of Teaching Material The teaching material is taken from module 8 ,Unit 1,Foreign language teaching and research press. In this unit, Ss’ main task is to learn the numbers of one to ten. Ss are familiar with the pronunciation of those numbers. Most Ss can count. But the don’t know the relative English words. It’s difficult for them to match the numbers with the right words. But that’s what’s important. It’s the focal and difficult points in this unit. Besides, some words are difficult to pronounce correctly. Such as three, eight, five and so on.. Difficult points The following words are difficult to pronounce:three, five, six and nine; Matching numbers with the right words are a little bit difficult for students.
