Method 98 Cases of Condyloma Acuminatum were randomly divided into two groups; carbon dioxide laser treatment was operated on all patients in both groups to remove the wart from the base once for all. The treatment group was treated with Chinese medicine for the clearing of heat and detoxicating, dehumidification, relief of pain and detumescene. The control group was given Chinese medicine for comforting. The drugs were delivered from the therapist to the third party and then passed on to the patients. 14 days of treatment is coidered one coue of treatment. After three coues of treatment, the clinical effect on both groups was assessed. Results 45 out of 49 were cured in the treatment group, with 4 cases of significant effect. The effective rate was %. 24 out of 49 in the control group were cured, with 12 cases of significant effect. The effective rate was %. Statistical analysis shows that the differences of cure rate and effective rate between these two groups are significant (P), with the rate of the treatment group higher than that of the control group.
