Results In 12 yea， more than 400 serial samples were collected and analyzed from 26 blood dono infected with HCV and liver biopsy was performed in 10 voluntary subjects. According to the positive rates and sustained period of HCV-RNA in blood samples in 12 yea， the results were divided to be two groups. In fit group （7 subjects）， the positive rate of HCV-RNA was low， % （47/113）; the abnormal rate of serum ALT was %（16/111）， and the liver biopsies of 4 subjects showed 2 cases were G1S0， and 2 cases were G1S1 according to the national standard. In second group （19 subjects）， the positive rates HCV-RNA was high， % （276/313）， the abnormal rates of serum ALT was % （159/316）， and the liver biopsies of 6 subjects showed 4 cases were G2S1， and 2 cases were G2S2. The 26 subjects of the two groups were in good health in the passed 12 yea.
