Methods: A total of 129 cases single-sided intractable epistaxis were collected， of whom 65 cases were given the nasal endoscope radiofrequency and 64 cases were provided with electrocoagulation. The immediate and long-term outcomes and complication condition were compared between the two groups. The curative effect and security of these two surgical methods were analyzed. Results: Time taken for nasal mucosa recovery， nasal ventilation， bleeding arrest and the bleeding volume in the radiofrequency group were higher than those in the electrocoagulation group （P） . The total effective rate 3 months following the surgery of the radiofrequency and electrocoagulation group were % （61/65） and % （62/64） respectively， and the difference was not statistically significant （P） . The incidence of postoperative complicatio in the radiofrequency group was %， which is higher than that in the electrocoagulation group （%） ， and the difference was statistically significant （P） . Conclusio: Both nasal endoscope radiofrequency and electrocoagulation have similar outcome in treating intractable epistaxis， while the electrocoagulation requires minimal trauma for nasal mucosa， recove quickly and has lower incidence of complicatio。 Keyword:intractable epistaxis; nasal endoscope; radiofrequency; electrocoagulation; 顽固性鼻出血亦称难治性鼻出血， 是指经局部压迫、血管收缩剂、镇静剂等常规
