Zhangjiagang City Fit People’s Hospital， Zhangjiagang 215600， China 【Abstract】 Objective To explore the application value of long-range electroencephalogram monitoring in epileptic seizure patients. Methods A total of 25 epileptic seizure patients all received routine and long-range electroencephalogram monitoring， and comparison were made on discovery rate of clinical seizures and epilepsy discharge by two monitoring methods. Results Long-range electroencephalogram monitoring had higher discovery rate of clinical seizures as 52.00% than 20.00% by routine electroencephalogram monitoring， and the difference had statistical significance （P0.05）. Long-range electroencephalogram monitoring had higher discovery rate of epilepsy discharge as 64.00% than 28.00% by routine electroencephalogram monitoring， and the difference had statistical significance （P0.05）. Long-range electroencephalogram monitoring had higher discovery rate of clinical seizures and epilepsy discharge at the same time in epilepsy patients as 44.00% than 4.00% by routine electroencephalogram monitoring， and the difference had statistical significance （P0.05）.
