Show some photos and let ss talk about above. Step 2 Listening Ask Ss to look at the picture in Activity 1 and say what is happening in it. Listen to the tape and complete the sentences in Activity 2. The boy _____________ is the guitar player. The boy _____________ is the singer. The boy _____________ is the drummer. 3. Answer the questions by listening again. What is Lingling going to do? Who are they? What does Daming think of the photo. Step 3 Listening and reading 1. Listen and answer the questions. Is Tony going to enter the photo competition? Who’s He Zhong? What subject will Tony choose? 2. Read the dialogue and answer the questions in Activity 3. Pick some students to give their answers. Check the answers with the whole class. 3. Ask students to read the conversation again and complete the sentences in Avtivity4. 4. Ask the students to role read the conversation. 5. Read Everyday English and work out the meaning from the conversation. Step 4 summary Sum up the main idea of this lesson.
