Language focus The students will be able to use the following words and structure properly. (1) Vocabulary: half, past, oclock, to, lesson, like, difficult, love, because, interesting, art, maths, geography, history, PE, subject, talk, begin, when (2) Key structures: Its half past six. We have Chinese at eight oclock. 2. Language skills (1) The students will be able to understand time expressions and identify school subjects. (2) The students will be able to understand conversations about a school day. (3) The students will be able to talk about ones lessons with given information. 3. Affection: The students will be ready to talk about their school day, develop their interest in learning. 重难点 重点:时间的表达和学科词汇以及行为动词的一般现在时。 难点:听懂有关学校生活的对话;掌握表达时间的不同方法。 教具准备 Multi-media 师生活动过程 设计意图 Step 1: Warming up 1. Enjoy an English song. 2. T greets the students as usual and talk about the song with them. 3. Guess what it is: It has got a round (圆的) face, and three hands, but it hasn’t got any feet. It works from day to night. It tells me the time every day. It is on the wall. The answer is a clock. Step 2: Leading in and presentation 1. T asks the students how to ask the time: What time is it? OR Whats the time? 2. Show students different ways of telling the times and present oclock, past, to, half Its three oclock./ Its a quarter past seven. Its half past five. / Its a quarter to seven. 3. Do Activity 1. Listen and repeat the time 4. Say the time in a sentence. Step 3: Presentation 1. Show pictures of different subjects and talk about them. Learn new words: history, art, PE, geography, IT, interesting, difficult, talk with, be good at. 2. Read the words about subjects together. Step 4: Listening and reading 1. Listen to Activity 3 and number the subjects as you hear them. 2. Listen again and complete the tabl
