Methods 114 patients with psoriasis vulgaris admitted to our hospital from July 2019 to September 2020 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into control group （57 cases） and study group （57 cases） using random number table method. The control group was treated with halometasone and calcipotriol， and the study group was treated with turmeric decoction on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 10 weeks and the effect was observed. The Psoriasis Severity Index （PASI） scores and efficacy of the two groups were compared before and after treatment. The serum IL-22 levels and skin physiological indicators of the two groups before and after treatment were counted. The safety of the two groups of drugs was compared. Results There was no significant difference in the comparison of PASI scores between the two groups before treatment （P0.05）. The PASI scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than before treatment （P0.05）， and the PASI scores of the study group were lower than control group after treatment （P0.05）. The total effective rate of the study group was higher than control group （P0.05）. There was no statistically significant difference in the levels of IL-22 between the two groups before treatment （P0.05）. The levels of IL-22 in the two
