Turn the e2695 Separations Module off, and disconnect the power cord. 2. If the optional Alliance column heater or column heater/cooler is installed, lift it from its keyed ports and disconnect its cable. 3. Remove the two screws that secure the right side panel to the instrument. 4. Slide the panel back far enough to clear the posts on the rear panel and remove it from the instrument. Replacing the Sample Loop REV. A 2 OF 4 Removing the Sample Loop 1. Cut the tie-wraps that secure the sample loop in place. 2. Using two 5/16-inch open end wrenches, disconnect the sample loop from the pressure transducer. 3. Using two 5/16-inch open end wrenches, disconnect the other end of the sample loop from the needle tee on the injector assembly (Figure 1). Figure 1 - Disconnecting Sample Loop from the Needle Tee Installing the Sample Loop 1. Connect one end of the new sample loop to the needle tee and tighten with the two 5/16-inch wrenches. 2. Connect the open end of the new sample loop to the pressure transducer and tighten with the two 5/16-inch wrenches. 3. Secure the sample loop in place using a new tie-wrap.
