Before performing this procedure, you should flush and dry the flow cell by following the “Flushing the Flow Cell” procedure on this CD, or refer to the 2475 Multiwave- length Fluorescence Detector Operators Guide. 2. Always wear powder-free gloves or finger cots when handling the flow cell to prevent contact with residual solvents. W Removing the Flow Cell Assembly 1. Turn the detector off, then disconnect the power cord. E 2. Remove the left front cover. I 3. Remove the tubing from the strain relief. 4. A 2 OF 3 5. Gently pull the flow cell assembly straight out to remove it. Installing the Flow Cell Assembly 1. Insert the new flow cell into the detector. 2. Alternately finger-tighten the captive screws, to ensure that the flow cell seats properly. Then tighten with the flat-head screwdriver. 3. Put the tubing back into the strain relief, and replace the left front cover. 4. Replace the left-front detector panel. 5. Reconnect the power cord and power on the detector. 6.
