太平间管理制度 The Regulations on Mortuary Management In the event of a patients death in the hospital, unless there are special circumstances, the hospital should notify the local funeral home to transport the body for cremation within 2 hours. If the deceased had an infectious disease, the hospital should report to the health administrative department for special handling of the body before notifying the funeral home to transport it for cremation. For non-local residents who die in the hospital and need to have their bodies transported back to their hometown due to special circumstances, approval from the local civil affairs department must be obtained before releasing the body. It is not allowed to contract the hospital mortuary to private owners for operation. (1) During the management period, the mortuary management personnel must ensure that the mortuary hall and morgue are only used for temporary storage of the body. No mourning activities can be carried out outside the mortuary or in public areas. There should be no firecrackers, gongs and drums, dancing, singing, gambling, drinking, or other behaviors that may disturb others, except for playing mournful music at a low volume. If the mortuary management personnel violate the agreement three times, the hospital has the right to cancel their management qualifications. (2) During the funeral service, the mortuary management personnel must uphold good professional ethics and provide the best service to the bereaved family. They must follow the relevant regulations of funeral management, wear work badges and uniforms while on duty. They must adhere to the 24-hour rotating duty system and strictly enforce the charging standards (which should be displayed on the wall). It is strictly prohibited for staff to extort money from the bereaved family. If they violate this rule, the hospital will deduct 1000 yuan from the performance bond.
