Unit 5 My clothes Period 4 - 说课稿 一、教学目标 知识目标 能够听、说、读、写服装词汇:hat, coat, T-shirt, shoes, pants; 能够用There is / are 句型描述照片中人物所穿服饰; 能理解并使用形容词:big, small, long, short。 能力目标 发现和理解物品之间的大小和长短差别; 培养学生发现物品的能力和用语言描述物品的能力; 培养学生的语言表达和交流能力。 情感目标 培养学生的爱护衣物的意识; 培养学生的美化环境的意识; 培养学生的文化素养。 二、教学重点、难点 教学重点 学习服装词汇:hat, coat, T-shirt, shoes, pants; 学习形容词:big, small, long, short; 学习使用There is/are描述人物所穿服饰。 教学难点 集中学习词汇,增加复习量; 通过图片的描述,让学生掌握There is/are的用法; 着重讲解形容词的比较级,让学生理解并运用于句子中。 三、教学过程 Warming up Greet the students; Show some pictures of clothes and ask some simple questions about them. Presentation New words: hat, coat, T-shirt, shoes, pants; Show the pictures of clothes and read the words along with the students; Let the students repeat after the teacher; Make sentences to describe the clothes using the new words. Vocabulary Practice Let the students practice the vocabulary in pairs; The teacher can ask a few students to present their sentences to the class. Listening Show the pictures of people and their clothes; Let the students listen to the description of the clothes, and then guess which picture the description fits; After that, play the recording to check the answers. Speaking Let the students work in pairs; One student describes the person in the picture using There is / are; The other student guesses which picture that person is. Grammar Introduce the concept of comparative adjectives – big, small, long, short; Compare two similar clothes and teach the students how to use comparative adjectives in describing them. Writing The students will be given some pictures of people and their clothes; Let them write sentences that describe the clothes using the new vocabulary and comparative adjectives. Summary Summarize what has been taught in this class; Highlight the important points and vocabulary. Homework The students are required to complete a worksheet about clothes and comparative adjectives; The teacher can also ask the students to do some reading comprehension about clothes. 四、板书设计
