Students will be able to express their opinions and insights about the lives of Langping and Michael Jordan. Teaching Key Points and Difficulties: 1. Teaching key points: Students will learn about the backgrounds, achievements, challenges, and impact of Langping and Michael Jordan. They will also learn how to analyze and compare these two figures. 2. Teaching difficulties: Students may find it challenging to understand the technical terms used in the biographies (e.g., NBA, Olympic gold medal). Also, students may have different perspectives on the lives of these two legends, which may lead to disagreements during the class discussion. Academic Background: 1. Students should have a basic understanding of basketball and have some knowledge of Michael Jordans career as a professional basketball player. They should also have some knowledge of Langpings achievements in table tennis. 2. Students should be able to read and comprehend English texts at an intermediate level. Teaching Process: 1. Warm-up (5 minutes) a. Greet students and ask them to share their thoughts on living legends in general. b.
