Based on the above considerations, this paper proposes a new method of site display: Augmented Reality Technology (AR). Taking the Yuanmingyuan as an example, this paper analyzes the limitations of the existing site display ways of the Yuanmingyuan ruins, the necessity of using augmented reality technology for site display, and the feasibility of using three kinds of augmented reality display technologies in the display of the Yuanmingyuan ruins.
