“Fengshen Yanyi” (also known as “Investiture of the Gods” or “Creation of the Gods”) is a classic Chinese novel written by Gu Zhizhong in the 16th century. It tells the story of the overthrow of the Shang Dynasty by the rise of the Zhou Dynasty, with a focus on the gods and spirits who intervene in human affairs.
This report is a mid-term report on the research on the English translation of “Fengshen Yanyi” by Gu Zhizhong.
