ForProblem1,firstly,wesearchedforthedepthandoceancurrentinformationintheIonian

Seaandfittedtheseafloortopography.Then,alocationmodelisconducted.Utilizingthefourth-

orderRunge-Kuttamethod,numericalsolutionsareobtained,andpotentialmotiontrajectories

areplotted.Theprimaryuncertaintiesinthemodelincludethesubmersible’sinitialstate,ocean

currents,andfaultconditions.Therefore,thesubmersibleshouldbeequippedwithsensorssuchas

GPSandinertialnavigationsystems,regularlysendingpositioninformation,depth,motiondata,

andsurroundingoceancurrentdatatothehostship.

ForProblem2,weusedtheentropy-weightmethodtocalculatetheweightsofperformance

dataandcostsforthecorrespondingrescuedevices.Employingacost-benefitmodel,scoresare

obtained.Consideringthecharacteristicsofeachrescuedevice,wedeterminedthefollowingstrat-

egy:primarilyusingdronesforsurfacesearch,sonarforunderwatersearch,andpurchasingasmall

quantityofAUVsfordeeperregions.
