Engineeredcementitiouscomposites(ECC),sincetheirdevelopment,havebeenknownasaclassofcementitiousmaterialsuniquelypossessingsuperiorductility,strain-hardeningproperties,andmanyotheradvantagesovernormalconcrete.Forexample,ECCasafamilyofmaterialsattainstensilestraincapacityseveralhundredtimesthatofnormalconcrete.ThegoalofECCdesignistosuppressthewell-knownbrittlenessofcementitiousmaterials,infavorofmultiplemicrocracksundertension.工程用水泥基复合材料ECCstrain-hardening应变硬化；brittleness脆性；microcrack微裂缝
