一种改进的目标自动跟踪与计数方法研究*

摘要：在单目视频场景中，针对提高遮挡条件下目标跟踪和计数的效率问题，提出了一种应用于监控系统中的自动跟踪和计数方法。首先，实现了一个动态背景差分模块，这个模块用于光照变化条件下的背景建模；然后通过获取的前景区域的位置和大小来识别前景目标；最后为了提高遮挡条件下的目标跟踪和计数的效率，提出了一种改进的重叠跟踪器来完成目标跟踪和计数。实验结果表明，该方法比传统方法的平均检测率提高了10%,由此可见，该方法能够可靠地跟踪和计数。

Abstract:Inamonocularvideoscene,inordertoimprovetargettrackingandcountingefficiencyunderocclusionconditions,thispaperpresentedaschemetoautomaticallytrackandcountpeopleinasurveillancesystem.Firstly,itemployedadynamicbackgroundsubtractionmoduletomodellightvariationandthentreatedpositionsandsizesofforegroundregionsasdecisionfeaturestoidentifyforegroundobjectsascharacters.Finally,inordertoimprovetheeficiencyoftargettrackingandcountingunderocclusionconditions,itproposedanimprovedoverlaptrackertocompletetargettrackingandcounting.Ontheexperi-mentsoftrackingandcountingpeopleinthreevideosequences,theresultsexhibitthattheproposedschemecanimprovetheaverageddetectionratioabout10%comparedtotheconventionalwork.Therefore,thismethodcanreliablytrackandcount.

目标跟踪与计数已经被广泛用于公共领域1~5,如电影院、购物中心、车站等。这些区域有大量的人员流动，因此，自动监控目标活动是至关重要的。在商业活动中，监控系统获取的计数信息能够决定公共区域租赁的价值、评估广告的影响和调整相关类型的商品销售策略；在公共安全方面，这些信息能被有效地用于安排安全及附属设施。所以，研究人员一直关注跟踪和计数方法的研究
