［AbstractAbstract］AimAimTheaimofthisstudywastoclarifythesignificanceofresectionofovarianmetastasesfromcolorectal

cancerandtoidentifytheclinicopathologiccharacteristics.MethodsMethodsInthismulticenterretrospectivestudy,weevaluated

dataonovarianmetastasesfromcolorectalcancerobtainedfrompatientsat20centersinJapanbetween2000and

2014.Weexaminedtheimpactofresectionontheprognosisofpatientswithovarianmetastasesandexaminedprognos-

ticfactors.ResultsResultsThestudyincluded296patientswithovarianmetastasis.The3-yoverallsurvivalratewas68.6%

forsolitaryovarianmetastases.Inallcasesofthiscohort,the3-yoverallsurvivalratesaftercurativeresection,noncu-

rativeresection,andnonresectionwere65.9%,31.8%,and6.1%,respectively(curativeresectionvs.noncurativeresection

[P＜0.01]andnoncurativeresectionvs.nonresection[P＜0.01]).Inthemultivariateanalysisofprognosticfactors,tumor

sizeofovarianmetastasis(P＜0.01),bilateralovarianmetastasis(P＝0.01),peritonealmetastasis(P＜0.01),pulmonary

metastasis(P＝0.04),livermetastasis(P＜0.01),andremnantofovarianmetastasis(P＜0.01)werestatistically
