TheenclosedballotforrevisionofASTMF1967-01forBathSeatsrepresentstheitemsthattheBathSeatSubcommitteeF15.20haspreviouslyapproved.Theseincludethefollowing:

Revisionofsection7.5.3tochangethematerialfortheblockusedforthestaticloadtest.

Additionofawarningtotheproducttoaddressuseonslip-resistantsurfacesandtheadditionofadescriptionofslip-resistantsurfacesintheinstructionalliterature.

Additionoftwonewwarningstotheinstructionalliterature.Oneistoalertthecaregiverthatbabiescandrowninaslittleas1”ofwater.Thesecondistoalertthecaregivertothefactthatotherchildrenshouldnotbereliedupontosubstituteforanadultwhenbathingachild.Thisalsoincludesaformatrevisionofthesectionrequiringwarningsintheinstructionalliteraturetoconsolidateallwarningsunderonesection.
