In implement ERP system for Apollo Company we carry out many kinds of transfer document from one database to another, to make the work move freely through dada exchange. XML acts as the medium of data exchange in the course of carrying the ERP system of APOLLO Group into execution, and it realizes the data exchange between different database, at the meantime, it realizes the component of exchange between XML document and relational database ,therefore, it promotes the expandability flexibility and maintainability. This article analyses the primary demand of data exchange in ERP, combined with the method of object-oriented and component technique. It designs and realizes the system of universal data exchange based on XML .This article summarizes the technologies which are used in the practice of ERP system ,and brings up to use normal XML mode as data identifiers of exchange vouchers. It describes the transform script of mapping between relational mode and XML mode in detail, and discusses the design of data exchange component and realizing joint of the exchange between XML document and RDB.
