Methods: Ion cadmium was chelated with isothiocyanobenzyl-EDTA(iEDTA) and linked- with KLH to gain the complete antigen (Cd-iEDTA-KLH). Samely, the Cd-iEDTA-BSA was pr- epared for dectecting antigen. Five BALB/c mice were immunized with Cd-iEDTA-KLH conju- gates. The McAbs against ion cadmium were produced through general hybridoma technology. The titer, subtype and affinity of the antibodies were characterized in the way of indirect enzym- elinked immunosorbent assay, and the specificity were identified in the way of indirect compet- etive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.
