2006 Abstract In the 21 century, with the area integration tide, the relationship between China and ASAEN has come into a new stage, China and ASAEN free trade area (CAFTA) has been set up and the international trade increased greatly. As the international trade is an internspace market and the trade structure is based on primary product and labor oriented, the international freight is very huge almost equal to the amount of international trade. However, in this area the relevant corresponding polices are lack of integrity and efficiency. On the same time, the infrastructure for freight is very imbalance as each country is on the different development stage. As a result the freight transportation can’t meet the rise of the international trade quantity. So this paper will analyze the necessity, urgency and essentiality for the cooperation between China and ASAEN from the cooperation gains ,motivity and mechanism.
