Methods IgG were collected from Cd-MT immunized rabbit, and metallo- thionein expression in radish seedlings, pakchoi and leaf-used lettuce were introduced by adding different con- centration of CuSO , lead acetate, CoCl and HgCl respectively. Immunoblotting technique was used for ho- 4 2 2 mologous detection. Results Metallothionein synthesized in three kinds of vegetables under the stress of Cd-MT and heavy metal were homologous; the concentration of heavy metal influenced the expression of MTs in seeding. Conclusion The IgG collected from Cd-MT immunized rabbit can be used for detection of heavy metal contaminations in agricultural products.
