Effectiveness of Standard-Based Curriculum of a Master Programs for in-Service Elementary Teachers for Teaching Gifted Students in Mathematics and Science Lin, S.W.*、Tsai, .F.**、Wang, J.R.*、Liu, M.L.*、Fng, Y. Y.* *Graduate Institute of Science Mathematics Education, National Pingtung University of Education **Department of Special Education, National Pingtung University of Education Abstract This master program prepared in-service teachers for teaching elementary gifted students in mathematics and science. Based on the “teacher profession standard” approach, process approach, and inquiry approach, curriculum of the program was designed. The purposes of this study were to investigate the teaching practices, the congruence between standards and curriculum, and the effectiveness of the curriculum. Field-notes from classroom observation, teaching and learning document were collected and analyzed according to the “Mathematics and Science Teaching Standards in Gifted Education”. Evaluation was proceeded to modify the curriculum also. The findings showed that multiple strategies and assessment were used in the teaching practices, students performance achieved 75~100% of expected standards, the curriculum met the need of students, and the practices and the expected standards matched pretty well. Suggestions were proposed for modification of the standards and curriculum. Keywords: Standard-based, Mathematics and science gifted education, Teacher education, Effectiveness of curriculum 基準本位的國小數理教師在職進修特教資優教學碩士班 課程實施成效 摘 要 林曉雯*、蔡桂芳**、王靜如*、劉曼麗*、馮雅筠* *國立屏東教育大學數理教育研究所,**特殊教育學系 TEL:(08)7226141轉33162 FAX:(08)7239847 E-mail:linshewen@mail.npue.edu.tw 本碩士班旨在培養兼具數理專門知識及資優教學專長之國小在職教師。研究計畫小組參照教育部「教師專業基準本位」方案為核心理念,結合過程取向、探究取向,進行課程規劃與設計,本研究目的是探討本碩士班課程實施情形、基準運用之適切性,以及學生學習成效是否達成預定之對應指標。 研究團隊觀察、記錄教學實況、收集教材、學生平時作業、問卷、期中與期末考試等相關文件,並輔以全程錄影,依據「國小數理資優教學專業基準」分析各科課程實施情形與學生學習成效。另外,進行課程評鑑,以為課程設計及實施進行修正之參考。 研究結果發現:(1)各課程實施時大都依據課程規劃的理論基礎、教學大綱、教學策略與評量方式進行教學。(2) 課程達到預定基準的75~100%,且能符合學生需求。(3)評鑑結果指出
