Liupanshui Vocational Technical College,Liupanshui Guizhou553001,China) Abstract:Based on investigation and the historical data in Guiyang city,the types,distribution patterns of family,the application and arrangement of the landscape plants were analyzed in the current work. Totally, there were244 species of landscape plants belonging to 86 families and 147 genera. The plant arrangements are moreTreesandshrubsthanothers. Themostof introducedplantswerefromAsia,AfricaandLatinAmer- ica,native plants were less used. It is suggested that is native landscape plants,should be used more in landscape designing.
