Unit 1 One Values Lesson3 George Washington and The Cherry Tree(第2课时) 一、教学目标: 本课时的主要目标是:听与说的训练,阅读与写作能力的提高; (一)基础目标: 1. 能仿照例子,组织对话; 2. 能听懂短剧的内容,并表演; (二)发展目标: 1.小组活动,把完成的短内容八人一组表演; 2.阅读短文,完成任务;;  3.写作练习; (三)能力目标: 1. 阅读方面的训练并与之相关的练习; 2. 写作练习;  情感、策略和文化等有关目标:   1. 情感态度:正确的世界观,学会诚实,尊敬,合作;   2. 学习策略:在开展小组活动,编排小对话的时候要善于学习    别的同学好的方法; 二、教学资源: Student’s bookpage30~37; 三、教学重点: 1. 能仿照例子,组织对话; 2. 能听懂短剧内容,完成任务,并进行表演; ; 教学难点: 写作练习; 四 :|教前准备: 录音机,课件,学生分组; 五、教学过程: (1)Contents: ①Warming –up    ②Revision (2) Methods:   Teacher leads the students to say the important words and some sentences. (3) Purpose: 复习前面学习的重点单词与句型,创造英语学习氛围; Let’s look at page 30,DEVELOPING SKILLS Work in pairs and make up dialogues after the model, use the word and picture cues. Model: A: May I ask you a question about personal qualities? B: Sure, please go ahead. A: How do you explain “honesty” in English? B: Honesty is telling the truth. A: Can you give me an example? B: OK. Once a boy broke Mrs. Clark’s window while he was playing football. He told her about it, apologized to her and promised to pay for it. A: I see. Thanks. Now, let’s the students complete the following ask four groups to act out their dialogue in front of the class. And the teacher gives them proper encourages. Listen to the following short play and complete it, and act it out in groups of eight. The teacher plays the record two times , the first time ,the students only listen, and the second time, they can do it; after they complete it, ask eight students try to act it out in the front of the class. Work in groups of four and discuss how to be honesty after the model and then complete the table below. Model: A: Let’s discuss how to be an honesty person. B: I think we should do our homework on our own. We shouldn’t copy others’ work. C: We shouldn’t cheat in exams. D: If we happen to pick up something that was lost by someone we should try to return it to the owner. Ask the students to work in groups
