266 IMP HIRFLAnnualReport 2009 6 —22 FirstIndustrialElectron Accelerator in lM P ZhangZim in，CaoShuchun，LiZhongping，LiuM ing，W anM ing，ZhangYingfa，W angBin YangChunming，XiaoRongqing，JingYi，ShenXiaokang，ZhaoQuantangandYuanPing In 2009．thefirstindustrialelectronacceleratordevelopedbyIMP wasmanufacturedsuccessfullyand deliveredtOthebuyercornpanyofGuangdongprovince． Thenew acceleratoriSthetypeDG一 2．5acceleratorwith beam energyrangeof1．2～ 2．5MeV and maximum beam powerof100kW ．Comparedwiththetestacceleratordevelopedbefore，thenew accelera— torwasoptim izedwith somecomponentssuch asprimarywindings，second windings，acceleration tube， extraction system and controlesystem．Thekey componentofDG—seriesacceleratoriStheaircoretrans— formerwhichconsistsofprimarywindings，secondarywindingsandmagnetguide．InordertOhaveanex— cellentqualityforoperation，theverygooduniformityofoutputvoltagefrom secondarywindingswasre— quired．Sowecarriedoutasimulationandanexperimentonthecoupling betweenprimaryandsecondary windingsofmagneticsystem ．Forthereductionofcapitalcost，anew acclerationtubewithconnectionbe— tween ceramicring and stainlesssteelelectrode by adhesivewasdesigned and manufactured．Afterthe heating under7O℃ 。the vacuum degreein acceleration tubecouldreach 5×10 Paandtheleakagerate lowerthan1×10 Pa ·l／s．A new extractionsystem wasdesignedthroughwhichtheelectronbeam was scanned intwodirectionperpendicularly． Fig．1 TheacceleratorinstalledinGuangdong Theacceleratorwasenergized byamechanicalconvertorwithfrequencyof400HZ．Duringthecorn— missioning，theelectronbeamswithparameterof2．0MeV／40mA and2．5MeV／30mA wasobtained． Theenergystability，beam currentstabilityandthedistributionofextractedbeam werealsomeasuredand mettherequirementsofindustrialapplication．Theywere ±0．2 ，±3 ，and ±7．5 respectively．In December．theacceletatorwasdeliveredtotheb
