Abstract：The Theme—based languagecourse isa modeofContent-Based Instruction．acontinuum ranging from total
immersiontolanguageclasseswithfrequentuseofcontentforlanguagepractice．ToinvestigatetheinfluenceofaTheme-based
courseonlanguagelearning，fournon-Englishmajors (twomalestudentsandtwofemalestudents)wereselectedrfomthethirty—
