第17卷　 第2期 大 连 民 族 学 院 学 报 Vol.17,No.2 2015年3月 Journal of Dalian Nationalities University March2015 文章编号:1009-315X(2015)02-0149-05 亦新亦旧：《日本杂事诗》中的 “新名词” 苏　 明 (大连民族学院 国际文化交流学院,辽宁大连 116605) 摘　 要:以黄遵宪《日本杂事诗》为研究个案,探讨了早期域外纪游作品中“新名词”不新这一文学现象。 分析了“新名词”背后隐藏着旧意境的原因之所在。 认为早期域外纪游作品中的新词语,一方面见证着 先行者的勇气和他们在“中学为体”与“西学为用”之间不断寻找平衡点的努力,另一方面又显露出由于 无法摆脱强大文化惯习的牵绊而存在的思想局限。 通过对黄遵宪《日本杂事诗》中“新名词”不新这一个 案的研究,不但可以看到中国走向世界的现代化进程何其艰难,同时,也可以看出域外行旅对作者思想、 创作以及文学变革所产生的潜移默化的影响。 关键词:《日本杂事诗》;“新名词”;旧意境;黄遵宪 中图分类号:I06　 　 　 文献标志码:A On the Seemingly Fresh but Somehow Old-fashioned ‘New Terms’ inPoems Written inJapan SU Ming (International Cultural Exchange Institute,Dalian Nationalities University,Dalian Liaoning 116605,China) Abstract:By taking HuangZunxian’sPoems Written inJapan asa specificexample,theauthor studiesthe seemingly fresh but somehow old-fashioned ‘new terms’inthe early overseastour- ist writings and finds out the possible reasonsfor the existence of ‘old artistic conception’hid- den behindthe ‘new terms’,andthereby holdsthat the ‘new terms’applied inthe early tour- ist writings,ontheonehand,eyesthepioneeringwriters’courageandstruggletobalance ‘tak- ing Chinese learning for orthodoxy’and ‘taking western learning for application’,on the other hand,reveals the limits of their thoughts resulting from their cultural gene inherited from the powerful and influential mother culture. The analysisshowsusboth the great difficulties China’ s modernization wentthrough andtheinfluenceof travelling abroadhadonthewriters’thought, writing and literary reform.
