[Abstract] The aim of this study was to introduce and revise the Preschool Teacher Competency Rating Scale(PTCS), which could be used to measure the competent behavior of preschool teacher in China. 788 preschool teachers from three cities participated in the investigation. Based on the literature review and the Chinese culture background, the authors construct a theoretical model to support the revision. And the results has proved the hypothesis.
