Abstract: Brain- derived neurotrophic factor( BDNF)is one of the neurotrophic factors. BDNF has many biological e-f
fects on neurons of peripheral and central nervous system. Alzheimer. s disease is a degenerative neurosis characterized by
cognitive and memorial dysfunctions, which is a common dementia among the elderly. Nowadays the research on relations be-
tween BDNF and ADand the effect onAD have become hotspot of research. This paper attaches advances on the research de-
velopment of the effect of BDNF on AD.
