On the Semantic Foundation of Symmetry and Asymmetry between Deixises

The main function of deixises is to locate events in text from the time and space perspectives． Language instruction is reflec-
ted in deixises ，morphological system and lexical semantics． In this paper ，we discuss the elements of the indicating system ，the
datum of time and space orientation and typology characteristics of deixis in different languages． On this basis ，we point out the
physical and psychological properties of the linguistic circumstance where proximate and far instructions transform into each other．
The transformation between proximate and far instructions have symmetry and asymmetry aspects ，and every aspect has its seman-
tic foundation．
