The Selection and the Analysis of Curative Effect of Three Kinds of Patella Fracture Fixation Method Speciality: Orthopedics of TCM Author:Zhang Yong Jian Tutor: Prof Qi Shang Feng Abstract Objective：Observe and compare the treatment of patella fracture curative effect of AO-tension-band,memory alloy patellar holder and cable-pin. Methods ：Collect 98 patients with fracture of the patella who met the inclusion criteria from Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Orthopedic from 2009.12 to 2011.3.There are 73 patients with transverse fracture,and using AO-tension-band,memory alloy patellar holder and cable-pin to fix.And there are 25 patients with minuted fracture ,which using AO-tension-band and memory alloy patellar holder to fix.All patients were up to the fracture healing standard after treatment and followed up after treatment.After the end of the followed up,evaluate the function of the knee joint of each group. Compare the reset condition, Knee pain condition and range of motion, Shrinking degree of quadriceps femoris,the walking condition and the function of the knee joint,and obserbate curative effect. Results ：The treatment AO-tension-band,memory alloy patellar holder and cable-pin for the transverse fracture of patella are all statistically significant,The excellent rates were 92.0%,83.3% and 95.8% respectively,which were compared without significant statistical differences (P0.05);The excellent rates of treatment of the comminuted fracture of patella were 83.3% and 76.9%,comparing with no significant statistical difference (P0.05). Conclusion：The treatment of transverse fracture of patella using AO-tension-band,memory alloy patellar holder and cable-pin all had very good curative effect;The treatment of comminuted fracture using AO-tension-band and memory alloy patellar holder were both satisfact
