Clinical Study of JiaWeiWuMeiTang in Treating Functional Diarrhea with The cold-heat jumble Syndrome Specialty : Internal Medicine of TCM Author: Ma Weiwei Tutor: Professor Liu Dongmei Abstract Objective: To assess the efficacy and mechanism of JiaWeiWuMeiTang in the treatment of Fd with The cold-heat jumble syndrome. Methods: 60 patients were devided randomly into two groups.30 patinets were received JiaWeiWeiMeiTang as the study group,and 30 patinets were received GuChangZhiXie capsules as the control group. After 4 weeks treatment,the changes of clinic symptom were analyzed. Results: In the efficacy of TCM，the treatment group was better than control group (p0.05). After one course of treatment,significant difference was apparent in the clinical effects:In the treatment group，15 cases recovered and 10 cases significantly improved， (thus the effectual rate is 83.33%),3 cases improved. The total effective rate in the treatment group is 93.33%. In the control group ，9 cases recovered and 8 cases significantly improved，(thus the effectual rate is 56.67%),4 cases improved.The total effective rate in the control group is 70.00%.There was statistically significant difference in the total effective rate between the treatment group and control guoup(P0.05).The effective rate from the treatment group is clearly superior. In the improvement of TCM symptoms total score, the treatment group was better than control group (p0.05). Conclusion: JiaWeiWuMeiTang was an effective prescription of Chinese medicine treation Functional Diarrhea. The mechanism of this therapy may be relation to the adjustme
