Analysis relevance of different Denis type of compression fracture and treatment effect of percutaneous vertebroplasty Speciality：Orthopedics of TCM Author ：Fan Youfu Tutor：Prof. Hao Yanke Abstract Objective: To analyse the relevance of different Denis type of vertebral collapse and treatment effect of percutaneous vertebroplasty. Methods: Selected 202 cases of data from October 2009 to Feb 2012, and divided into 1 group ( Ⅰ type fracture type group), 2 groups ( Ⅱ type fracture), 3 groups (Ⅲ type fracture), 4 group (Ⅳ type fracture). Four groups of patients are through the percutaneous vertebroplasty treatment. To assess curative effect of four groups before and after treatment with surgery, the introduction of Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and Roland-Morris Question (RDQ) as curative effect evaluation standard. Analysing the datas of the patients before and after surgery treatment between groups and in groups. Results: Patients with the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS), Roland-Morris Question (RDQ) score contrast there were no significant difference before treatment (P 0.05); After percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) treatment, there are a significant difference of the visual simulation score (VAS) and Roland-Morris dysfunction in interclass (P 0.05); To contrast 1 group with 2, 3, 4 group after one week treatment ,the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and Roland-Morris Question (RDQ) score has significant difference (P 0.05), after 3 months of VAS, RDQ score was no significant difference (P 0.05), after six months of RDQ score was no significant difference (P 0.05); After one week, 3 months, 6mouths, there was all no significant to contrast VAS and RDQ within 2group,3group and 4group (P 0.05).
