  Clinical Research of Tongbitang on Treating High-risk diabetic foot Speciality：Hormonology of TCM Author ：Li Xiaomei Tutor:Prof ：Zhang Dexian Abstract Objective：To discuss the effect of High-risk diabetic foot which belonging to Qi deficiency and blood stasis type treated by Tongbitang based on the theory of TCM compared with Western medicine treatment group,study Tongbitang’s mechanism and preliminary study the prescription’s mechanism. Methods ：Choose 60 patients with High-risk diabetic foot lesions,and divided them into treatment group(30cases)and control group (30cases) adopting experimental methods of random and control.Under the same basic treatment,and Oral western medicine,while the Treatment group oral TCM compound . Twelve weeks was a course of treatment.Before and after treatment we observed the changes of the symptoms,signs,fasting plasma glucose (FPG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1C), Ankle brachial index(ABI) and nerve conduction velocity,.T-test and X2 test were used in processing data,and monitored the liver and renal functions. Results ：Treatment group is more effective comparing with control group in the following items:ABI(P0.05), the MNCV and SNCV of the median nerve (P0.01) ,the Conduction speed of Phil. Total nerve and Phil. shallow neural of two groups both shows no obvious difference before and after treatment （P0.05 ）. Conclusion：Tongbitang is functional for the treatment of High-risk diabetic foot belonging to Qi deficiency and blood stasis type,witch provides an effective and safe method to treat diabetic foot with fewer side effects.
