Abstrac:t W ithFusarium solani as indicator, wt o antagonistic bacteria w ere screened from the rh izosphere of m elon and w ere
nam ed asF22, T5b, respectively.W henPseudop eronosp ora cubensis as indicator, one antagonistic bacterium was screened from the phyl
losphere of m elon andw as nam ed as B11b. Based on the results ofm orphologic characteristics, physiological and b iochem ical properties
and phylogenetic analysis of 16S rDNA, T5b was identified asBacillus sp. , F22 and B11b were identified asPseudomonas stutzeri. The
sequences of 16S rDNA obtained in th is study have been subm itted to GenBankw ith accession numbers as follow, T5b as EU771077,
F22 as EU771075, and B11b as EU771074, respectively.
