Methods 68 adult orthodontic patients with skeletal class III malocclusion and 108 students with individual normal occlusion were included.The psycological health of the patients and the students was evaluated by Eysenck Personality Questionnaire（EPQ），t test was used to analyze the data. Results Factors of E in EPQ of the patients before treatment were lower than that of the students with individual normal occlusion.Factors of N，P and N in EPQ of the patients before treatment were higher than that of the students with individual normal occlusion respectively，and the differences were significant.Factors of L and E in EPQ of the patients after treatment were higher than that of the students with individual normal occlusion respectively，and the differences were significant.
