ZDL Series Muffler TIAN JIN BAOFENG FAN MANUFACTURING CO., LTD ZDL Centrifugal Fan Series Muffler Instructions Preface ZDL (former DF) Muffler is a new type of chip muffler which is manufactured by and through the cooperation of Wuhan Fanner Muffler Institute, Institute of Project Planning Research, Ministry of Machine Building Industry etc. It is designed to reduce the air intake and exhaust noise of “Low or Median Pressure Centrifugal Fan”. Ⅰ Products: ZDL Series muffler includes 9 models from ZDL10C to ZDL17C. Z——refers to the initial of Chinese Pinyin of “中Zhong”, and indicates low and median pressure fan. D——refers to the initial of Chinese Pinyin of “低Di”, and indicates low and median pressure fan. L——refers to the initial of Chinese Pinyin of “离Li”, and indicates centrifugal fan. 10~17——indicates the fan No. of the mufflers. Ⅱ Application Scope: The series muffler is able to match all low and median pressure centrifugal fans for general use in industrial and civil buildings, such as each and every models of 4-73，9-19，9-26，5-48，6-48- and 4-72 series, to name just a few. It also can be used for reducing the air-intake and exhaust noise in ventilating devices and boilers. Ⅲ Characteristics 1·Perfect Noise Elimination Effect: the noise can be reduced by 15~20dB（A）by muffler of one meter-long. 2·Low Resistance Loss: the total resistance of a single section muffler (including taper pipe) is below (or equal to) 20mmH2O at wind speed of 20m/s. 3·Low Air Flow Regeneration Noise: the sound power level of the regeneration noise is below 80dB（A）at the wind speed of 20m/s. 4·Simple Structure: all the mufflers are chip-style structure and convenient for maintenance. Ⅳ Performance Performance features: one meter-long octave noise elimination capacity (insertion loss), see Figure 1.
