Abstract The new curriculum reform is a profound educational reform, its core concept is promoting the comprehensive development of students. The new curriculum objective includes three aspects: knowledge and skills, process and methods, emotions, attitudes and values; the emotions, attitudes and values target can be called emotional goal. The proposing of the goal of emotion is a striking point, and it is regarded as ultimate educational goal and much attention has been paid to it, which fully embodies our effort to “change the tendency of paying too much attention to imparting knowledge, emphasize developing of active learning attitude, and make the process of acquiring elementary knowledge and basic skills into that of learning to learn and forming correct values”. For emotions, attitudes and values are important factors that affect students learning and development. Emotions, attitudes and values form a development continuum constituted from low to high with the three parts linked together closely and influence mutually. The emotional goal becomes an important part of the curriculum objectives, all the disciplines’ curriculum standards (experiment draft) have given explanation on the training objectives in the field of emotion, and put forward corresponding suggestions for teaching and assessment. Under this condition, the problem of how to realize emotional targets has attracted more attention of researchers and teachers. In order to know about the state of the implementation of new curriculum emotional target, this research makes an investigation into the current state of the implementation of new curriculum emotional target, and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures based on the result.
